Student, Data Enthusiast, and Published Researcher

Hi there, thanks for visiting my website! I’m Tyler Soiferman; I am a senior Computer Science major at Stevens Institute of Technology. Over the past several years, I’ve gained valuable experience in Data Science/Analytics and Computer Science in general.

I interned as a Global Technology Summer Analyst at Bank of America, where I helped to streamline and automate the analytics process necessary for the upcoming transition to the T+1 standard settlements cycle. I’ve also interned as a Data Analyst at Dot Loves Data, a Wellington, New Zealand based company, where I coauthored a natural language processing research paper that has since been published in an international journal. As an undergraduate researcher at Stevens, I evaluated time series models’ abilities to forecast new cases of COVID-19 across the US when trained on data incorporating sentiment scores of articles pertaining to COVID public policy change. All of these experiences have vastly increased my skill set as a Data Scientist and Analyst.

At Stevens, I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a leader, during my time on the Dean’s Student Advisory Board for the School of Business and the Stevens Computer Science Student Advisory Council, and as a Global Ambassador for the Study Abroad program. On top of that, I always ensure to make time to volunteer at my local library, as I’ve done for over seven years.

I’m always excited to work alongside a talented array of diverse individuals who share my passion for Data Science and Analytics! Please feel free to check out my portfolio!
